Screen (an assembling in two acts), 2019 Two-way mirror, lights, dimmers, curtains, carpet. Duration 19 min (loop). Installation View at Lille3000, Lille, France. Spatial setting based on a dialogue between two different spaces. In this sense, I divided the space into four parts, and in between I arranged a double-view mirror that reflected what a choreography of lights allowed to see. In the mirror, that works as a screen, you could see how the space was, either full cover by curtains and carpet, or solid white walls, questioning the stiffness of the real space, and its possibility of expansion. Making use of reflections to travel both decorations from one place to another, thus generating different environments and dimensions that coexist in the same room.

Fantasma (Ghost), 2015 Double-projected 16mm film. 3 minutes in loop Variable dimensions Installation View at FIL (Feria Internacional del libro), Guadalajara, Mx. Each side of the screen suspended between the two 16mm projectors shows different qualities of the same image. In one, it is the projection of a filmed scene of dust over a dark background. In the other, the emulsion was removed from the film magazine and a wax was adhered in its place. As the projector ran over time, the dust in the place became impregnated and projected onto the white surface of the screen.

El Año Pasado en Marienbad (Last year at Marienbad), 2017 Pencil on paper 65 x 40 cm This drawing departs from two superimposed stills, like two points of view, from a scene in the film Last year at Marienbad. The place is the same, but like the opinions and memory of the characters, the image is different. The idea of what is "real" in the scenario becomes ambiguous. |

It makes reference to Jose Juan Tablada´s poem of the same title, contained in Li Po and Other Poems.
